Something not working, or a question about WordCapy? Write to hello@wordcapy.com and we will get back to you, usually within two working days. Telling us your phone model and what you were doing when the problem appeared helps us answer faster.
WordCapy Pro
- I subscribed, but the app still shows the free limits. Open the Profile tab, tap WordCapy Pro, and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store or Google Play with the account you bought it with.
- How do I cancel? Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Can I get a refund? Apple and Google handle payments and refunds. Ask them through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Google Play order history.
- What is free? One new article a day with its audio, ten new saved words a day, and unlimited reviews of the words you have saved.
Your account and progress
- Do I need an account? No. To keep your words and reviews when you change phones, create one from the Profile tab under Save your progress.
- I got a new phone. On the first screen, tap I already have an account and sign in the same way you did before.
- How do I delete my account? Write to hello@wordcapy.com from the email address on your account. We delete the account and everything attached to it within 30 days.
Reading and reviewing
- The articles are too easy or too hard. Change your level in the Profile tab. New articles at that level appear in your feed straight away.
- I want translations in another language. Change the translation language in the Profile tab, or from the sheet that opens when you tap a word.
- The daily reminder does not arrive. Turn it on in the Profile tab. If notifications are blocked for WordCapy, the app takes you to your phone's settings to allow them.
